Our Past and Current Mission
Who we are
The Mount Damavand Group, owned and operated by the Faramarzpour Family since 1939, is officially responsible for Camp I and Camp III (Old Hut a.k.a. VIP Hut) of Mount Damavand, under the supervision of the Iranian Mountaineering Federation.
History
For many years, the Faramarzpour family has managed the camp despite numerous challenges. They have successfully guided climbers to the summit of Mount Damavand and passed this legacy onto younger generations. Today, Rasoul Faramarzpour, supported by family expertise and a team of passionate young professionals, continues this tradition.
Mission
We offer two main categories of services, Tour Packages and Support Services. Our tours include Mountaineering, Trekking, Hiking, Skiing, Ice Climbing, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Horse Riding, and Rappelling down beautiful Waterfalls. As for our Support Services, we provide full logistical support for adventure journeys in Iran, including accommodation, transportation, guide, food, and more.
You can also customize our tours according to your preference, blending adventure with cultural tourism. In addition to exploring the mountains, you can immerse yourself in Iran’s rich history and experience the warm hospitality of Iranians in various locations across the country.
We use the most experienced and skilled local guides, tour guides, and official mountaineering mentors to ensure our programs are conducted with the highest safety standards and to the satisfaction of our clients.
