Mount Damavand Entry Permit
All individuals entering the Mount Damavand area must obtain the Mount Damavand Permit, issued by the Iran Mountaineering & Sport Climbing Federation.
- Permits are issued at Polour Mountaineering Camp (If you are traveling to the Damavand area on your own, be sure to make a brief stop there and have your ID documents ready.).
- Entry is not allowed without a valid permit in hand.
- Presence in the area without the permit is considered illegal.
- The permit fee is $50 (USD) or €50 per person, payable only in cash.
- If your journey is fully organized by us or if we handle your transfer to the Mount Damavand area, we facilitate this step.
Mount Damavand Climbing Certificate
You can obtain the official certificate for climbing Mount Damavand, issued by the Iran Mountaineering & Sport Climbing Federation. To receive a certificate for a successful ascent of Mount Damavand, you must provide proof—either a photo and video of yourself on the summit or by climbing with one of our approved mountain guides.
- The fee for issuing the official certificate for climbing Mount Damavand is €5.
- Please notify us in advance if you opt for this service so that we can have your certificate ready upon your return.
