Kafar Koli historical caves
The Kafar Koli historical caves are located in Larijan, near the Mount Damavand Group. These caves are significant for their historical and cultural value. They were used as dwellings by non-Muslims during the early Islamic era, over 1000 years ago. The caves offer a fascinating glimpse into the past and are a popular destination for tourists interested in history and archaeology.
Malek Bahman castle & Shahandasht Waterfall
Shahandasht Waterfall features three cascades, with a total height of about 180 meters. This impressive and permanent waterfall is located on the south side of the Haraz River, with Malek Bahman Castle perched atop it.
Malek Bahman Castle, dating back 3000 years, is one of the major castles in the Alborz Mountains. It belonged to the Paduspanid dynasty (655–1598), which, with nearly 1000 years of history, is considered the longest dynasty in Iranian history and the second-longest in the world after Japan's Imperial Sun Line.
Ab-e Garm (Hot Spring)
Larijan Hot Spring located at the base of Mount Damavand, It has several individual bathtubs and some public pools.
The heat in hot springs envelopes and helps soothe aching muscles, and the minerals present in the water get soaked up by the skin, and stimulate certain bodily processes.
